Dwayne Johnson, protagonista di Black Adam, annuncia ufficialmente l’ingresso di Aldis Hodge nel cast: sarà Hawkman!

Dwayne Johnson è sempre più coinvolto nella produzione di Black Adam, il cinecomic DC che introdurrà al cinema la nemesi di Capitan Marvel/Shazam. Se durante il DC FandDom avevamo visto una sorta di trailer animato, in cui veniva svelata anche la presenza della JSA, oggi è stato svelato il nome dell’attore che interpreterà Hawkman: si tratta di Aldis Hodge (The Invisible Man, One Night in Miami), che ha appreso la notizia dallo stesso The Rock, come possiamo vedere da questo fantastico annuncio su Instagram:

HAWKMAN is a critical leading role for our movie, as he is the fiery leader of the JSA (Justice Society of America) and one of the most beloved and legendary characters in the DC UNIVERSE. Sostanzialmente, nel post Dwayne Johnson racconta la telefonata con cui ha dato la notizia ad Aldis Hodge, il quale – incredulo – credeva di essere vittima di uno scherzo. Invece è tutto vero: stando a quanto racconta The Rock, l’attore ha passato brillantemente il provino e il ruolo di Hawkman (che qui viene indicato come il leader della Justice Socity of America) è suo.

Ricordiamo che i membri della JSA che vedremo nel film saranno Atom Smasher (che sarà interpretato da Noah Centineo), Hawkman (che come detto avrà le fattezze di Aldis Hodge), Doctor Fate e Cyclone.
